HHQ Da Nang Firm Trip 2026: More Than Just a Getaway

By user on May 8, 2026

From 1 to 4 May 2026,  over 120 of us from Halim Hong & Quek came together for a memorable firm trip to Da Nang, Vietnam, four days filled with laughter, adventure, good food, and meaningful moments shared across the firm.

Bringing together colleagues from different offices (KL, JB, Penang), departments, and practice groups, the trip was an opportunity to step away from the pace of work and spend time reconnecting with one another in a more relaxed setting.

Throughout the trip, the team explored some of Central Vietnam’s most iconic attractions, including Son Tra Peninsula, Linh Ung Pagoda, Marble Mountains, Coconut Forest at Cam Thanh Village, Hoi An Ancient Town, and Ba Na Hills, home to the famous Golden Bridge.

Whether it was navigating basket boats through the coconut forest, taking in panoramic views above the clouds at Ba Na Hills, wandering through the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An, or simply sharing meals and conversations together, the experience created many moments that will be remembered fondly by the team.

More importantly, the trip reflected something that continues to matter deeply to us at HHQ, building a workplace where people genuinely enjoy working together.

While legal practice is often demanding, trips like these remind us that strong teams are built not only through professional collaboration, but also through trust, friendship, and shared experiences outside the office. . At HHQ, we believe that investing in our people ultimately strengthens the way we serve our clients. Fostering a more connected, collaborative, and resilient team.

The Da Nang Firm Trip 2026 was a wonderful reminder of the people and relationships that continue to shape the spirit of our firm.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip such a meaningful and memorable one. We look forward to many more journeys together in the years ahead.
